Although Firestone is a tyre brand, it has a rich history with music, including the production of radios in the past. They were in need of a new and engaging festival activation game, representing their brand.
I proposed a drum arcade game, inspired by the popular Japanese game Taiko no Tatsujin. The game features a rhythmic music track and icons representing the bass and snare drums that appear on the screen. Players hit either the tyre or the F-shield when the respective icons appear.
The game uses sensors to detect the hits, allowing players to hear themselves play the drum. It is designed for two players competing against each other, with the score based on the accuracy of their drumming.
